About Us

Our Philosophy

We believe that pre-school children flourish in a high quality and caring environment where learning is an active process achieved whilst playing. Our aim is to help each child meet their social, emotional and developmental needs through:

  • High quality at all levels.
  • Activities to develop a child’s knowledge and understanding of the outside world.
  • Fun and stimulation.
  • Safety and security.

  • Challenges for the child to help develop their own interests and abilities.
  • Commitment in developing a child’s emotional and social confidence.
  • Opportunities for the child to make choices and decisions.

  • Strong parental involvement in order to meet the needs of the families and their children.
  • A key worker system which ensures that each child is assigned a specific member of staff who will support that child and their family throughout their time at Jigsaw.

All our staff are qualified and highly experienced, including trained paediatric First Aiders.

Our staff regularly attend courses, updating their knowledge, skills and understanding.

  • My son has always been a momma's boy and it was a rough couple of weeks when we first started him at Jigsaw Pinner. It was our first attempt at any sort of child care (and restrictions due to covid also complicated the change). But I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly he settled in! The space is lovely and colourful and exciting. The staff are kind and warm. And management are very receptive to helping make the experience so that the transition away from mummy is not too traumatic. Truly a wonderful nursery experience so far.
